To the newest Member of the Air Station Team,

I want to welcome you to Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton!  You are now part of the finest and one of the busiest Air Stations in the Marine Corps.  You are joining a professional group, dedicated to doing the right thing and performing our mission to the best of our ability.  Our mission is to provide exceptional aviation installation support services to the warfighters of I Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF) and our tenant organizations, the Marines and Sailors of Marine Aircraft Group 39 and 41 (MAG-39/41).  Your contribution to this support will ensure all of these units are prepared to successfully accomplish their mission.
In order to enhance mission accomplish, we must preserve our most important assets - YOU! - Plus the other countless Marines, Sailors, and Civilian employees that make it all happen day in and day.  Your safety is extremely important and I want to ensure that we foster a professional, safe, and comfortable environment in which to work, live, and learn. We are consistent in our efforts to improve the care, values, and overall quality of life of those we support.  They maintain a high operational tempo and the better we can support them, the more effectively and efficiently they can attain their training objectives and succeed in their mission when deployed overseas.

We are family here at MCAS Camp Pendleton, we take care of each other.  The health and welfare of you and your family are extremely important to us.  We promote family readiness, knowing that it is a force multiplier and leads to improved mission readiness.  Caring for the families of our Marines, Sailors, and civilian Marines starts with me and permeates throughout the entire chain of command to include your Department Head, OIC, and SNCOIC.

To that end, our Unit Family Readiness Officer and Chaplain are here to assist you throughout your tour at MCAS Camp Pendleton.  They are my trusted agents on personal and family support matters.  They possess a wealth of knowledge to help you and your family locate the information and resources you need to grow and prosper during this tour.  I encourage you and your family to join in the many installation and community activities that are available to you.  Please visit our website and read our monthly newsletter at
